# influences()

Shows the bones and weights on one vertex. Bones with weight 0 are left out. The larger share comes first.

Vertex numbers start at 0. An index outside the mesh raises `IndexError`. If weight data is not loaded yet, you get `SessionError`.

This reads the weight table stored on the slot, not the final value after stacking layers. Use it just after Quick Skin, when you want the numbers for which bones landed on that point.

### Signature
```python
skin.influences(vert_index) -> tuple
```

Each item is `(bone name, weight)`.

### Example
```python
print(api.skin().influences(0))
```
