# mesh_height_cm()

Returns the longest side of the box around the active mesh, in centimeters. It is not the character's height. It is the longer of width, depth, and height.

Measuring only the up axis makes a mesh that came in lying down look tiny. That is why this uses the longest side.

If there is no mesh, the value is `0.0`. It does not raise.

### Signature
```python
skin.mesh_height_cm() -> float
```

### Example
```python
print(api.skin().mesh_height_cm())
```

This is enough to check that a mesh is loaded before Quick Skin. For a resolution suggestion, use [scan](scan.md).
