# save_as()

Saves to the given `.sls` path and makes that path the current file. Same as File > Save As.

The extension is not added for you. If the path does not end in `.sls`, the error is `unsupported`. This call does not write an `.idt`.

### Signature
```python
api.save_as(path) -> result
```

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `ok` | True on success. |
| `error` | Failure code. Empty on success. The path is not included. |
| `unsupported` | The path does not end in `.sls`. |
| `bad_path` | The parent folder is missing, or the path is a folder. |
| `no_data` | There is no mesh to save. |
